Job Brief:


  • A safety conscious, responsible, and dependable teammate is required to participate directly in the various tasks required to complete the work in the facility. This work includes, but is not limited to, tool assembly and repair, pick, pack and ship operations, collating machine set up and operation, inventory transactions, and utilizing Client's enterprise software.

  • A self-starter who enjoys working in a team environment and is interested in learning and growing as an individual.

  • A competent individual who is results driven.




Desired qualifications and experience are as follows:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • One to three years’ experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred

  • Mechanical acumen/previous experience with hand/measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, sanders, screwdrivers, wrenches, drill motors, nail guns etc. preferred

  • Experience using software to track and report plant activity such as work orders, inventory transactions, shipping and receiving transactions, etc.

  • Demonstrated general computer literacy is a plus.

  • A self-starter, working well without constant supervision and with a can-do attitude

  • Fork lift operating experience is a plus

  • Ability to read, count, and record part numbers, lot and serial numbers, quantities, and perform simple math such as multiplication and division of whole round numbers

  • The physical abilities to do the work required. Standing for up to 8 hours, ability to lift 50 pounds, kneeling, bending and using hand tools.




Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Plant Safety for oneself, one’s teammates and visitors

  • Following directions and adhering to assigned work schedules

  • Manufacturing

  • Building and repairing tools

  • Setting up and running collating machines

  • Packaging and putting away finished goods

  • Performing QC checks of raw materials and finished goods

  • Clean up and maintenance

  • Distribution and Inventory Control

  • Unloading, receiving and putting away freight

  • Picking, packing and shipping freight

  • Participating in inventory cycle counting

  • Inventory transfers

  • Clean up

  • Maintain records per policy

  • Follow all company policies and procedures

  • Having, and or gaining, a working knowledge of all collating and general plant equipment

  • Participating and assisting with the general layout, problem solving and planning of plant operations

  • Helping shape and maintain a culture of transparency and tolerance, of having a learner mindset, and doing whatever it takes to serve our customers, our ownership and our teammates within the boundaries of being safe and acting in compliance of company policy

  • Other projects and duties as assigned by Working Operations Supervisor
